BUFFALO, N.Y. - Day Two of the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and another good day for Central Michigan.
Sophomore Nadia Williams placed second in the long jump and punched her ticket to the final in the 100-meter dash as the Central Michigan women finished the day in second place with 40 points, 17 behind first-place Akron. Twelve teams comprise the women's field.
The Chippewa men got four place finishers and two athletes advanced to the finals in two events as CMU finished the day in fourth place with 49 points.
