The Central Michigan baseball game with Cleary scheduled for today, Thursday, at Theunissen Stadium has been postponed. No makeup date has been set.
The Chippewas’ three-game series with Kent State at Theunissen Stadium this weekend is still on as originally planned: Friday, 3:05 p.m.; Saturday, 2:05 p.m.; Sunday, 1:05 p.m.
In a pre-game ceremony on Saturday at approximately 1:45 p.m., CMU will retire the uniform numbers of legends Dean Kreiner and Dave Keilitz, both of whom were standout players and coaches during their days in maroon and gold.
The field at Theunissen will then be dedicated to the Keilitz family and the facility will now carry the name Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium.
