KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Central Michigan volleyball team suffered a 3-0 sweep by rival Western Michigan Friday night in a Mid-American Conference matchup at Western’s University Arena.
The Chippewas, who have dropped seven of their last eight games, are 19-16 overall with a 3-10 mark in the league. The Broncos are 9-17, 4-9.
CMU fell 25-19, 25-18 and 25-12 in their 12th straight-set loss of the season.
Senior Kathia Sanchez led the CMU offense with 10 kills and a .444 hitting percentage to go along with 15 assists from the setter position.
