CLINTON, S.C. – Summer Abdalla and Riley Huda scored three goals apiece Sunday as the Central Michigan lacrosse team snapped a four-game losing streak with a 14-7 non-conference win over Presbyterian at the Blue Hose’s Old Bailey Stadium.
The win in its final non-conference game of the season lifted CMU to 4-6. The Chippewas play host to Jacksonville on Friday and Stetson on Sunday in Atlantic Sun Conference games. Presbyterian is 3-11.
Central Michigan coach Sara Tisdale declared before Sunday’s game that if her offensive unit recorded 30 shots, it would fly out of the state of South Carolina with a victory.
