EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - Katie Janowicz won the all-around Friday as the Central Michigan gymnastics team captured a quadrangular meet hosted by Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The Chippewas finished with a 193.600 team score to easily outdistance second-place Wisconsin-Whitewater, which finished with 186.700.
Eau Claire finished third at 184.375 and Winona State was fourth with 183.525.
The Chippewas improved slightly on the 193.425 they posted in beating Temple on Sunday in their season opener, but, coach Jerry Reighard said, the performances were, on the whole, better across the board.
