SETTING THE SCENE
The Central Michigan baseball team will play back-to-back nonleague home games this week against Michigan and against Clearly at Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium.
The Chippewas will take on the Wolverines on Tuesday and will play the Cougars on Wednesday. Both games carry a 4:05 p.m. start. The CMU-Cleary game was originally scheduled for April 4 and was postponed because of weather.
SPECIAL DAY
Tuesday’s game against Michigan is the Chippewas’ annual PCUPS Foundation event in support of prostate cancer awareness and testing. Information about prostate cancer and testing will be available, and players from both teams will wear blue wristbands.
