CONWAY, S.C. – In a tug-of-war of a game, the Central Michigan lacrosse team came away with its sixth straight victory when Emma Hamilton fired in a free position goal to give the Chippewas an 11-10 nonconference win over Coastal Carolina on Sunday at the Chanticleers’ Brooks Stadium.
The win lifted CMU to 11-5. The Chippewas play their final regular season game at Detroit Mercy on Saturday, April 28 in what amounts to the Southern Conference regular-season championship game. CMU is 4-0 in league play, while the Titans are 3-1.
