MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Change, both in personnel and in scheme, is the theme as the Central Michigan football team hits the field for spring practice.
The Chippewas begin their third year under coach John Bonamego, and on Thursday they held their third spring practice in the turf bay at the Indoor Athletic Complex.
“We learned a lot of valuable lessons last year,” said Bonamego, who led the Chippewas to a 6-7 finish in 2016 and a berth in the Miami Beach Bowl. “Our seniors have really stepped up.
