Central Michigan softball finished their trip to Clearwater, Florida with a 2-3 record in the USF Under Armour Showcase.
The Chippewas played 12 games in the past nine days.They lost to Saint Joseph’s, Chattanooga and Villanova. CMU earned victories over Lehigh and Seton Hall.
The Chippewas now have a 9-11 record in the 2018 season.
Three Losses
The Chippewas started the showcase with a 5-4 loss to Saint Joseph’s on Friday. Senior Hanna Warren collected her fourth loss of the season, hurling eight and two-third innings while allowing 10 hits, five runs (four earned) and two walks while striking out five.
