BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Offensive consistency is something the Central Michigan softball team has been searching for since it opened Mid-American Conference play.
The Chippewas weren’t able to find it Friday, as the Chippewas scored a combined three runs, dropping both games of their doubleheader with Bowling Green.
The Chippewas fell, 4-2, in the opener, then dropped the nightcap, 5-1. The third and final game of the series is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday.
Central Michigan is 15-20-1 overall with a 2-7-1 mark in the conference. Bowling Green is 16-23, 4-6.
