SETTING THE SCENE
The Central Michigan softball team will head to Clearwater, Fla. for Spring Break, during which it is scheduled to play 12 games over 10 days.
CMU opens its trip on Friday, March 2, with games against Penn and Wisconsin. All but two of CMU's 12 games on the trip are a part of the South Florida Under Armour Invitational.
WHERE THEY STAND
The Chippewas are 4-4 after finishing 3-1 two weeks ago in the Liberty Challenge. CMU went 2-0 against Delaware State and 1-1 against host Liberty in the challenge.
