The difference between a winning and losing record for the Mid-American Conference during the bowl season falls on Central Michigan’s shoulders.
No pressure, right?
Central Michigan is the last of seven MAC teams to compete in the postseason this month as it squares off with Big Ten Conference opponent Minnesota Monday at 5 p.m. in the Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit. The game will air live on ESPN2.
Currently, the MAC has a 3-3 record during the bowl season.
The Chippewas enter the Quick Lane Bowl with a 7-5 record, while the Golden Gophers are one of three squads to make a bowl game with a 5-7 mark.
