MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Bahamas is out. But there are plenty of other possibilities as Central Michigan football fans speculate on the Chippewas’ bowl destination.
The Mid-American Conference has primary tie-ins with four bowl games, and is a secondary participant in three others. The Chippewas, who finished the regular season 8-4, will learn their destination and their opponent on Sunday, Dec. 3.
The MAC tie-ins are with the Dollar General Bowl, the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and the Bahamas Bowl. The Bahamas Bowl has already filled its dance card with Ohio and Alabama-Birmingham.
