Chris Ostrowsky, who built a high-scoring offense as head coach of the Northern Michigan University football team, is the new offensive coordinator for Central Michigan, CMU coach John Bonamego said.
Ostrowsky was head coach at Northern Michigan for five seasons. The Wildcats’ offense averaged more than 31.7 points a game and more than 386 yards of offense the past two seasons.
Bonamego said he was impressed with Ostrowsky’s passion for coaching and wide-ranging background, which includes time as an offensive coordinator, a quarterbacks coach, a recruiting coordinator, passing game coordinator and an assistant head coach in stops at Northern Michigan, Northeastern (Mass.
