MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Emma Hamilton and Jocelyne Lemay each scored four goals to lead the Central Michigan women's lacrosse team to a 19-9 win over Butler in the Chippewas' home opener on Wednesday at the CMU Lacrosse Complex.
The Chippewas are 2-2 and are scheduled to go to Cincinnati (3-1) for a nonconference game on Friday (3 p.m.). CMU will play the first of seven consecutive home games beginning on March 11 against Michigan (2-3).
HOW IT HAPPENED
Butler put the first goal on the board just under five minutes in to the game, but Central Michigan responded with four consecutive goals to take the lead for good.
