MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Nine members of the Central Michigan gymnastics team were named Academic All-Mid-American Conference.
Two of those nine, seniors Katy Clements and Bryttany Kaplan, received the honor for the third consecutive year. Clements is a journalism major who carries a 3.57 grade point average, and Kaplan is a recreation & event management major with a 3.92 GPA.
To be eligible for Academic All-MAC, a gymnastics must carry a cumulative 3.2 GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of her team’s competitions throughout the 2018 season.
