Tickets are on sale to see the record-setting Central Michigan women’s basketball team play in the Mid-American Conference Tournament in Cleveland.
The CMU women, 22-7 as of March 1 and who can clinch their first regular-season MAC title in 32 years, will open action on Wednesday at Quicken Loans Arena. Game time is to be determined by final seeding. The Chippewas – on the verge of setting team records in 3-point field goal percentage, free-throw percentage and home victories in a season – have secured a top-four seed and a bye into the quarterfinals.
The CMU men will be on the road Monday in the first round of the MAC Basketball Tournament, and the opponent will be determined by the outcome of games this evening.
