The Buckeyes, the No. 3 seed in the Spokane Region, defeated No. 14 seed George Washington, 87-45, a few hours after the Chippewas left the St. Johns Arena court to set up a second-round matchup at 6:30 p.m. Monday. (ESPN2, WMHW-FM, 91.5) Much of the CMU coaching staff stuck around to watch the second game and take notes on Ohio State, one of the hottest teams in the nation.
