COLUMBUS, Ohio – A lot of good, but, as Mark Guthrie reiterates time and again, there is more out there.
The Central Michigan track and field teams posted 19 top-10 finishes including four seconds Friday and Saturday at the Jesse Owens Classic at Ohio State.
“We certainly had some individuals who got some A’s today, that had great days,” said Guthrie, CMU’s director of track and field. “But overall it was more a B-minus to C-plus.
“We had our moments throughout the day, we had some athletes who had outstanding performances, but we had the same number that could have been better.
