MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Central Michigan men's basketball team will open the the 2016-17 Mid-American Conference season at Eastern Michigan on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
The Chippewas are eyeing their third consecutive MAC West title. Their league home opener is Tuesday, Jan. 10, against defending East champion Akron.
The Chippewas go to Buffalo, the 2016 MAC Tournament champion, on Tuesday, Jan. 31. It is the second game of a two-game road trip that starts three days earlier at Kent State. Buffalo visits Mount Pleasant on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
CMU plays host to rival Western Michigan on Saturday, Feb.
