MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Central Michigan's Chris Fowler was named to the All-Mid-American Conference men's basketball first team, released Monday by the league office in Cleveland.
It is the second consecutive season that Fowler, a senior from Southfield, Mich., earned a spot on the first team. Last season, he was runner-up in the league Player of the Year Award voting and was named to the All-MAC Third Team as a sophomore in 2013-14. He was the runner-up for the league's Freshman of the Year in 2012-13.
The league will announce its Player of the Year and Coach of the Year award winners on Wednesday.
