BUFFALO, N.Y. – Missing leading scorer and top 3-point threat Braylon Rayson, the Central Michigan men’s basketball team looked to go to the basket Saturday in its Mid-American Conference game at Buffalo’s Alumni Arena.
The Chippewas found the basket, but not often enough the bottom of it, as they made just 36.4 percent of their field goal attempts in falling to the Bulls, 74-61.
Both teams are 9-8 overall, 2-2 MAC. The Chippewas play at Northern Illinois on Tuesday (8 p.m.).
Rayson, CMU’s leading scorer at 17.
