The rain and snow of the Michigan weather could not help Central Michigan lacrosse against Kennesaw State.
The Chippewas (5-5, 1-0 SoCon) fell to the Owls (3-7) by a score of 14-11 — snapping their three-game win-streak.
“Today was crappy but at the same time this is not the first time we’ve played in it,” said CMU head coach Sara Tisdale. “They’re from Atlanta, Georgia and they’re not used to playing in this so we should have the advantage.”
Central Michigan and Kennesaw State exchanged early goals before a slashing Izzy Palermo cut to the net and scored giving the Owls a 2-1 lead.
