MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Nothing like a 12-0 scoring run to make up for a slow start.
Natalie Karlen scored first with under eight minutes to go in the first half, sparking 12 unanswered goals and sealing a 15-8 nonconference win for the Central Michigan lacrosse team on Thursday against Duquesne at the CMU Lacrosse Complex. The win lifted CMU to 3-4 and snapped a two-game losing streak.
The Chippewas are scheduled for another nonleaguer on Saturday (noon) as they play host to Saint Francis (4-3).
