The Mid-American Conference has proven this winter that parity leads to unpredictable results.
Central Michigan has been on the wrong end of the conference’s instability over the last 10 days, suffering three losses to drop from atop the MAC West Division to a game back of Ball State and Toledo.
The Chippewas’ losing skid continued Saturday evening by a count of 75-65 against Ball State in a game that was tight until the last four minutes.
Next up on CMU’s docket in its bid to return to the winner’s circle is a battle with the other MAC West frontrunner in Toledo Tuesday night at McGuirk Arena.
