MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan’s Presley Hudson was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for women’s basketball.
Hudson, a junior guard from Wayland, Mich., led the Chippewas to two wins last week – 91-77 over Northern Illinois and 78-62 over Western Michigan in Kalamazoo -- as they improved to 23-4, 15-1 MAC and wrapped up the West crown.
Hudson averaged 24 points, seven assists and five rebounds in the two games. She went a combined 16 of 27 (59.3 percent) from the field, including a 12-for-16 clip (75 percent) from 3-point range.
