Rayshawn Simmons initiated a group text Sunday with his Central Michigan teammates to discuss on-court issues that have plagued the team in recent weeks.
The Chippewas were dealt a 92-85 loss Saturday afternoon at rival Western Michigan, dropping them to 14-13 and more importantly 7-7 in the Mid-American Conference West Division which is a full two games behind leader Ball State.
Central Michigan returns to McGuirk Arena Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. tip-off versus Northern Illinois (18-9, 7-7).
