The women's basketball team rallies before a matchup against Western Michigan Feb. 21 at McGuirk Arena. The Chippewas defeated the Broncos, 63-51.
On Friday night, Central Michigan women's basketball played a game against No. 1 Notre Dame that head coach Sue Guevara called a great opportunity for her team.
After getting beat 107-47 by the Irish, Guevara made it clear that ND was the better team, but the Chippewas will learn from the loss.
“Notre Dame is the No. 1 team in the country for a reason,” she said. “They were stronger, faster, more physical and just straight up the better team tonight.
