COLUMBUS, OHIO - Texts from family and friends and Snapchat messages from watch parties in Mount Pleasant gave Central Michigan women's basketball players a sense of what people thought of their first-round NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament victory Saturday against LSU.
"It was really cool," junior forward Reyna Frost said. "Yeah, it was awesome," junior guard Presley Hudson said.
All other talk of that victory - the first NCAA Tournament win in program history - is shelved, CMU coach Sue Guevara said.
"That was a really nice win for us," Guevara said Sunday.
