MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - A free concert by singer and guitarist Uncle Kracker will kick off the enhanced Tailgate Village Maroon and Gold Concert Series on Sept. 1 before the Central Michigan University football team opens its season with a 7 p.m. game against Presbyterian.
“Each year, we look for ways to augment the game-day experience at CMU football games,” CMU Director of Athletics Dave Heeke said. “Now, with key local businesses serving as sponsors and partners, we can secure high-level music acts. Tailgate Village is a must-visit before our home games for all fans, and especially groups looking for a turn-key, full experience.
