MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Dr. Matthew Jackson has joined the Central Michigan Athletic Department as its medical director and head team physician.
He will coordinate the overall care of CMU student-athletes.
Dr. Jackson earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Tuoro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in California in 2009. He holds bachelor’s degrees from Michigan State in both physiology and psychology.
“This is truly an exciting day for the CMU Athletic program,” CMU Athletic Director Dave Heeke said. “Dr. Jackson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help us continue to build an exceptional sports medicine department.
