Former Central Michigan all-time great quarterback Dan LeFevour is back in the National Football League.
LeFevour, who starred at CMU from 2006 through 2009, signed Tuesday with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It will be his first stint on an NFL roster since May of 2012 when he was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
As a four-year starter at Central Michigan, LeFevour set an then-NCAA record for most career total touchdowns with 150. He threw for 12,905 yards and 102 touchdowns, completing 66.4 percent of his passes (1,171-of-1,763) in 53 starts. LeFevour also rushed for 2,948 yards and 47 TDs, while also managing a 32-yard TD reception during his sophomore season.
