Central Michigan will soon have representation on the biggest stage in college football.
Four new members to the College Football Playoff Committee were announced Thursday, including CMU football coaching legend Herb Deromedi.
Deromedi will be the first selection committee member to be a representative of the Mid-American Conference in the short history of the College Football Playoff. He will be part of the 13-member committee that ranks the Top 25 football teams in the country along with deciding the top four to invite for the playoff.
