MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan football team’s annual spring game is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
There will be plenty for coach John Bonamego and his staff to observe and hash through post-game. But emerging from the game – and the month-long practice schedule that preceded it -- healthy is the top priority.
“That’s the No. 1 thing,” said Bonamego, who is in his second season as the head coach at his alma mater.
“It’s always interesting to see different groups of players work together,” he said.
