LAWRENCE, Kan. – Not that there was ever any doubt about Shane Morris’ talent or leadership, but Saturday’s 45-27 victory at Kansas perhaps served as a validation of sorts.
Morris, a graduate transfer from Michigan, completed an efficient 28 of his 37 pass attempts for 467 yards and five touchdowns in leading the Chippewas to what might well be considered a mild upset of the Jayhawks, who play in the Big 12.
