MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan football coach John Bonamego was firm and pointed when asked his chief concern coming out of Saturday’s 31-14 home loss to Miami (Ohio).
“Our execution,” he said. “When we do the things that we’re supposed to do as well as we are capable of doing them, we are an excellent football team. When we don’t, we look average at best.”
And average isn’t good enough to beat anybody on the Chippewas’ schedule. CMU goes to Boston College on Saturday, Sept. 30.
