MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan football program has signed quarterback Tommy Lazzaro of Monument, Colo.
“I am excited to have Tommy join our program,” CMU head coach John Bonamego said. “He is a proven winner who is a big, strong kid with a lot of the intangibles we look for in a quarterback.”
Lazzaro, who is listed at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, will be a sophomore and eligible to play in the 2016 season. He spent last season at Dodge City (Kan.) Community College, where he threw for 2,237 yards while completing 57.
