MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – It wasn’t a thing of beauty, and coach John Bonamego and his Central Michigan coaching staff will find plenty of things to work on.
Still, a win is a win, and Bonamego and the Chippewas were happy to walk out of Kelly/Shorts Stadium on Saturday with a 24-21 victory over Ball State on homecoming.
“I know it wasn’t pretty at times,” Bonamego said. “We’re a work in progress in some areas. We just need to get back to work on Monday and keep working to address some of the things that keep coming up.
