Central Michigan football returned to Kelly/Shorts Stadium on Saturday to face the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. At halftime, the Chippewas lead the Rebels 28-21.
Senior quarterback Cooper Rush has thrown four touchdowns and 255 yards, while the rushing attack has managed only 38 yards.
The Rebels got on the board first after running back Charles Williams recovered a blocked punt in the end zone five minutes into the game.
The CMU offense responded by scoring on two of its next three drives. Rush found senior Jesse Kroll for a 30-yard touchdown to tie the game and then found Mark Chapman for a 13-yard touchdown to go up 14-7.
