SAINT LOUIS – The Central Michigan field hockey team lost their final regular-season road game of the season, 1-0, to Saint Louis, Sunday, at the Billikens’ Gallagher Park in a non-league game
The Chippewas slipped to 1-14.
After surrendering a first-half goal, Central held Saint Louis (2-10) to only three shots and two penalty corners in the second half. The Chippewas ended with an 8-3 advantage in penalty corners.
Saint Louis finished with a 9-8 edge in shots. CMU goalkeeper Lily Amadio made three saves.
Billikens goalkeeper Meme Dawson registered her first career shutout.
