MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan lacrosse team grabbed an early lead and never relinquished it en route to a 17-12 nonconference win over St. Francis on Saturday at the CMU Lacrosse Complex.
It was the second straight victory for the Chippewas, 4-4, who begin Southern Conference play at home against Mercer (3-4) on Thursda, March 29.
HOW IT HAPPENED
CMU racked up an early lead in the first six minutes, with goals from Anna Schoonover, Shannon Doyle and Tyra Prince.
