Deardorff Leads Chippewas With Career-Best 77

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Freshman Meghan Deardorff shot a career-best 77 on Saturday to lead the Central Michigan golf team during the second round of the Mid-American Conference Championship at Naperville Country Club.

The Chippewas posted a 321 team total, the same score they posted in Friday's opening round, and stand at 642, tied with Bowling Green for ninth place in the 10-team event. The third and final round is scheduled for Sunday.

Also for the Chippewas on Saturday, Jami Laude carded an 80, Kristen Wolfe and Natalie Johnson both shot 82, and Bria Colosky finished at 83.
