MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan’s Tinara Moore has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Co-Player of the Week.
Moore, a 6-foot-3 senior from Southgate, averaged a double-double -- 23 points, 12.5 rebounds – in leading the Chippewas to victories over Ohio and over Miami (Ohio). She shared the award with Northern Illinois guard Courtney Woods.
Moore scored a team-high 22 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to go along with three blocks in 33 minutes in the Chippewas’ 82-58 win over Ohio. She made all 11 of her free throw attempts.
