ATHENS, Ohio – Central Michigan overcame a rash of turnovers and missed free throws in the final minute on Wednesday in holding off Ohio, 74-72, in a wild Mid-American Conference women’s basketball game at the Bobcats’ Convocation Center.
The Chippewas remained perfect in MAC play at 11-0. They are 19-3 overall. Ohio, which fell to CMU by 24 points in Mount Pleasant five weeks ago, is 12-10, 6-5.

Presley Hudson scored 22 points to lead CMU, while Tinara Moore had 18 points and Reyna Frost added 16.
