First team to 100 wins.
Or is it 110, perhaps 120?
If you’re a fan of offense then Monday night’s second-round NCAA Tournament game between 11th-seeded Central Michigan University and third-seeded Ohio State University fits the bill perfectly.
On paper the Buckeyes (28-6) rank fifth nationally in points per game (85.1) while the Chippewas (82.5) rank seventh. Thus, when these two teams tip off from St. John Arena in Columbus, Ohio at 6:30 p.m. Monday night expect points aplenty.
The game will be aired on ESPN2 and on 91.5 FM locally.
The Chippewas won their first-ever NCAA Tournament game Saturday as they bounced sixth-seeded LSU 78-69 while the third-seeded Buckeyes crushed 14th-seeded George Washington 87-45.
