On Saturday afternoon the Central Michigan University football program will be hosting its annual ‘Spring Game’ from Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
Gates open at noon and action is slated to start at 1 p.m.
The game is free and open to the public to attend.
Last season John Bonamego led his Chippewas to a fine showing as they went 8-5 overall and 6-2 in Mid-American Conference action. The Chippewas finished second in the MAC West Division and played in the Idaho Potato Bowl where they lost to Wyoming 37-14. CMU was picked to finish in the MAC West in the 2017-18 preseason poll.
