Central Michigan announced a home-and-home football series with New Mexico State today.
The series starts with a game in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, with a return game in Las Cruces, N.M. on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026.
The Aggies are an independent and the game in 2019 marks the first meeting between the two programs.
New Mexico State is coming off a historic season under coach Doug Martin. The program went 7-6 in 2017, including a victory over Utah State in the Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl. That game ended NMSU's 57-year bowl drought.
