On Thursday afternoon Central Michigan University introduced Jordan Bischel as its new head baseball coach at a press conference from the John G. Kulhavi Events Center.
Bischel replaces Steve Jaksa who retired from his post on June 1 after 16 years at the helm.
Bischel comes to CMU after a four-year stint at Northwood University in Midland. During his run with the Timberwolves he compiled a record of 137-76 and won back-to-back GLIAC regular season and tournament titles in 2017-18. The two-time GLIAC ‘Coach of the Year’ becomes just the sixth head baseball coach at CMU dating back some 65 years.
