After a much needed victory on Saturday, 84-75 at Bowling Green, Central Michigan returned home to McGuirk Arena to take on Miami Tuesday evening.
Like the Chippewas, the RedHawks have stumbled to begin conference play.
Coming into Tuesday night’s contest, Miami lost two of its last three games while CMU had lost four of its last five. After four brief lead changes in the first half, it was mostly a one-sided affair for the rest of the game as the RedHawks (11-9, 4-3 MAC) defeated the Chippewas, 70-61.
“We have to get better,” CMU head coach Keno Davis said.
