Keno Davis officially begins his sixth season as the head Central Michigan basketball coach on Friday when the Chippewas host Siena Heights at 4 p.m.
But, if you’re looking for an early preview, Davis and company are hosting Northwood at 1 p.m. Sunday from McGuirk Arena in an exhibition.
Heading into the season Davis is optimistic despite the fact that he lost his two top scorers.
Remember, Marcus Keene and Braylon Rayson stole the show for the Chippewas last season averaging 30 and 21 points a game respectively. They’re both gone now, so the question becomes where does the scoring come from now?
